Salsa Aerobics
On Friday, May 16, Spanish students danced their hearts out to "Aerobicos con ritmo latino" under the direction of Elise Foss. Each year Ms. Foss, aerobics instructor and personal trainer, helps 8th grade Spanish students at Station put their knowledge to the test as they follow her commands in the target language. Foss, who was born in Brazil and grew up in Venezuela, requires students to listen for descriptions of the types of music and dance, parts of the body, directions, etc. This year's group was exceptionally talented and many students dressed the part. Watch out, Richard Simmons!
